Statement
We the undersigned are at odds with ourselves,
Fed up with putting our hopes on our shelves.
Now the time comes for the pen to write free
Persuading all others to be what they be.
We pledge to create everyday that we breathe,
Even if it’s something you think you don’t
need.
We the undersigned have one goal in mind,
Making our creations withstand tests of time.
Knowing not all can ever be pleased,
Exposing ourselves to be overtly teased.
But practice makes perfect, we know that is
true,
So feedback is welcome, especially from you.
We the undersigned require your trust,
You’ll have to stand still for us to finish
this bust.
If you don’t like it, you don’t have to pay,
But think about it first, don’t look the other
way.
Give us the chance you know we deserve
‘Cause we are your artists, we’re just here
to serve
